We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work with our team of Car Wash Attendants. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, professional appearance and be able to provide excellent customer service. The ideal job candidate for this position will be a self-starter able to complete tasks without direct supervision. In addition to the base wage, customer tips add the potential for 'pocket cash' and can significantly increase your earnings.
We offer flexible scheduling and can build a work schedule that fits your life with the potential to move to full time. Weekend and holiday shifts are at times required (we all take them) as well as nights. Typical shifts run from 7am - 2 pm, 2pm - 9pm, or all day at 7am - 9pm. Hours are guaranteed, rain or shine.
A basic day: Clock in, wait for customers and be ready to serve! You will be taking payment and "prepping" the vehicle - working around it and cleaning snow, dirt, and known trouble spots. At the end of your shift, you will run the numbers, prepare a checkout sheet, and clean the tunnel for the next day! That's it. There are many slow days (depending on weather) where you will be tasked with cleaning and upkeep. All of this is largely unsupervised. You can work at your own pace as long as what needs to get done, gets done. Our employees often enjoy downtime used for study or other tasks. Great job for a student. Dependability a must.
Responsibilities:
- Direct in, take payment from, and prep vehicles before sending them through our wash.
- Light maintenance and physical labor required. Training will be provided.
- Check out and close shift, including basic math skills.
- Cleaning - including the wash and its surroundings.
- Providing a positive welcoming attitude to all customers
- Job Types: Part-time, Full-time.
Wage: From $13.00 per hour + tips
