Now hiring a 2nd shift Machine Operator in Sparta, Michigan!
Trillium Staffing is seeking a secondary Machine Operator for 2nd shift at our client’s Sparta, MI location.
Job Details:
• Hours are Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-1:20am, Fridays as needed 1:00pm-9:20pm
• Pay is $12.50 per hour plus $.50 shift premium
• $250 sign on bonus at 90 days of employment
• $250 if employee has perfect attendance for first 60 days
Job duties include:
• Operate stand-alone machine operations.
• Inspects castings visually during operation to comply with customer specifications.
• Operates any production machine in the secondary department, loading and unloading parts.
• Hand file, grinds, deburs die castings as required.
• Accurately complete production paperwork and other related documents.
• Knowledgeable on performing hourly checks using gauges.
• Understand the scrap and containment procedures.
• Able to recognize defects on die castings.
• Know the proper procedures for packing parts.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time.
