Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains expert knowledge of, and advanced working proficiency in, the following vehicle components and systems:
Chassis component repair and maintenance
Multiple and steerable lift axels
PTO components
USDOT inspections
Refuse bodies, including air and electric controls
Air and hydraulic braking systems
Engine repair and after treatment maintenance
Suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems
Heating and air conditioning systems
Occasional yard equipment service and repair
Assist in coordinating daily ship operations and ensuring timely completion of repair tasks
Performs computer repair diagnostics to determine root cause of issue
Identifies the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools
Work effectively with team members at all levels of the company as a positive, professional example
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner consistent with our mission statement
Roadside repair and maintenance utilizing a company service truck
Occasional weekend needed
Other duties as assigned
