HVAC Pipe Installer
Job description
Installation of HVAC mechanical equipment and pipe in new commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Install piping systems such as hydronics, gas pipe, condensate pipe and refrigeration piping
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine pipe layouts and specifications
- know how to cut pipe, thread, groove, press, solder
- Ability to weld is a plus
- Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges or other equipment
- Inspect and troubleshoot pipe systems to identify and resolve issues
- Coordinate with other trades on site
- Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pipefitter
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, and brazing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
