Local trucking company with diesel repair facility located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo; seeking a full-time diesel truck mechanic. We have a full-service commercial truck repair facility and handle all types of truck repairs for our own fleet of 12 trucks.
Candidate can expect to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; with the possibility of after-hours and/or weekend work.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience.
Must have a Class A CDL truck license.
Must have experience & knowledge of all makes and models of trucks & engines years 1999-2024.
Must carry ALL your Certificates. Must be able to repair and maintain all DEF systems for OTR tractors.
Must have welding experience & certificates.
Must have a positive work ethic and work attitude.
Must have own reliable transportation to and from work.
Pay is based on experience.
Candidate must speak English, provide their own tools, be self-sufficient and a team-player.
Review after 90 days. Paid vacation, medical, dental, vision. The position is hourly with overtime pay after 40 hours.
