Meekhof Tire is growing and we are seeking another qualified driver. This is an excellent opportunity to get in with an established family owned company.
50 hours per week, year round w/overtime. Delivering tires to our stores and customers throughout Michigan and Chicago.
Home every night. Hot and cold weather exposure is to be expected.
Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Operate a Class A CDL truck and trailer in a safe and efficient manner
⢠Deliver and pick-up tire and wheels - most days on the same route
⢠Ability to lift up to 100 lbs multiple times per day
Qualifications:
⢠Experience preferred with Class A CDL, air brakes, 53 ft trailer, and Elog
⢠Clean driving record
⢠Must be willing to work in a safe manner, and follow all safety procedures
⢠Able to work without direct supervision while at customer locations
⢠Good customer service skills - both written and verbal
⢠Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug test
