Royalty Staffing is helping an innovative transportation innovation firm, to find dedicated Vehicle Operators for their micro-transit initiative that is connecting rural communities. This role is crucial for ensuring every passenger enjoys a secure, impeccably clean, and consistently pleasant travel experience.
LOCATION -Grand Rapids, MN, area
WORK ENVIRONMENT - In-person/field
EXPECTED PAY - 20.00 USD Per Hour
SCHEDULE -Part time 30 hours per week
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH – Ongoing/Contract
As a Vehicle Operator, you'll:
Utilize advanced vehicle and accessibility technologies to provide complimentary transportation services within Grand Rapids and its neighboring communities, specifically targeting residents of Cohasset, Deer River, and Ball Club.
Engage regularly with passengers and the operational team.
Offer insights to enhance vehicle comfort, aesthetics, and the overall passenger journey.
Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles.
Maintain the cleanliness of vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience with an impeccable driving record.
Clean driving record, able to pass a Motor-Vehicle-Check
Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with advanced technology.
Possesses a systematic and process-driven approach. Highly organized and adept at documenting daily summaries.
Able to assist individuals in wheelchairs, including pushing them up ramps and into vehicles.
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs routinely.
A background in electronics, mechanical systems, or computing is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license.
