Job Description:
As a Line Cook at The Paisley Pig, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our executive chef to prepare and execute key components of our menu. Your main goal will be to maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and cook all dishes to specifications, ensuring flavor consistency and presentation meet our standards.
Work alongside the kitchen team to facilitate a smooth service operation, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager or purchasing coordinator.
Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure that customer satisfaction is prioritized at all times.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook (1+ years preferred).
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Familiarity with industry best practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school attendance is a plus.
