Assists with tasks such as cleaning, stocking, patient transport, quality management, data entry, typing, assisting patients/families with comfort needs, aiding with patient specimen collection, and completion of paperwork.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred/Optional: Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program or EMT, RN, LPN, Surgical Tech or Medical Assistant program.EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESMinimum Required: Must have hands on patient experience obtained through work experience, clinical rotation, or course work. Demonstrates excellence in customer service and professionalism. Able to follow directions and keep accurate records while maintaining confidentiality. Able to work in a high stress/high volume environment and cooperate with and under direction of others. Must have good communication skills and be able to relate effectively/ kindly to patients and families. Must also have good clerical & numeric perception and demonstrate kindness, maturity, sense of responsibility, empathy, initiative, and honesty.Preferred/Optional: Word processing experience.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Hours: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts starting at 5a, 6a, 7a, 9a, or as assigned

Overtime Status: 12+ hours in 1 day or 40+ hours in 1 work week

Wage Range: $16.25-$21.53
