Description We are in the process of recruiting an AP/AR Clerk, to be based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The individual will be part of our team, focusing on the management and execution of daily tasks in our accounts payable and accounts receivable sections.Responsibilities: Oversee all facets of the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable function Handle daily operations in both the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices in the system and that all transactions are accounted for and properly posted Confirm that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures Prepare and send invoices, credit memos, and purchase orders Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts and deadlines Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue, and receivables Provide assistance during quarterly and year-end audits Perform the month-end accounting close Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all departmentsRequirements Proficiency in Account Coding is essential. Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is crucial. Proficiency in using Concur is necessary. Knowledge of ERP Solutions is important. Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is required. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is critical. Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. Auditing skills are needed. Experience in Billing Functions is mandatory.
