DescriptionHelp Desk SupportRobert Half Technology has partnered with a successful Kalamazoo area company that is looking for a Help Desk Support. This Help Desk Support will provide guidance and on-site executive support for installed products and applications in a timely, competent manner. You will be considered as the firm’s front liner and solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company. Analyze the customer's technical environment and explain complex issues to customers in a non-technical way to maintain customer satisfaction. Observe and report on activities used to support customers; provide ideas, input, and innovation throughout the development process. Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsExperience in an enterprise environment preferred.Windows and/or Mac experience knowledge preferred.Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field highly preferred. Experience providing desktop technical support preferred. Ability to provide technical support service delivery within established guidelines. Desktop/windows/PC expertise. Problem solving and customer facing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal/external clients/vendors. Excellent analytical, assessment, planning, verbal and written communications skills.
