Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionThe Engineering Project Manager will oversee all phases of capital project management from the conceptual estimate to equipment fabrication, construction, commissioning, start-up, and close out. The role also includes responsibility for project scope, financial spending forecasting, and schedule development. In addition, the Project Manager will research alternative solutions for customers, maintaining compliance with all user codes. The role also requires presenting key project deliverables and scope to the leadership team for project initiation and updates. The main focus will be supporting the Aseptic Filling and manufacturing processes, with additional support to other projects as needed. Daily responsibilities include developing preliminary budgets and schedules, preparing Capital Project Appropriation requests, developing Request for Proposal documents, managing and coordinating implementation of assigned projects, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements on assigned projects.Hard Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)

Project Management experience

5+ years' experience troubleshooting/commissioning/improving Aseptic Filling and freeze drying processes

Experience in Project Management Systems - Power Point, MS Project, Microsoft Project Online

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Kalamazoo, Michigan.Work EnvironmentThis role will be supporting projects in Portage and Kalamazoo, involving 2 manufacturing facilities and 1 lab facility. Reporting to the Engineering Manager over Capital Projects, the Project Manager will be involved in a variety of projects including capital equipment, packaging lines, boiler projects, and warehousing projects. The project duration is expected to be 12 months but may extend.
