Kitchen assistant required to work in a commercial food production kitchen for the summer, from May until October or when school or college re-opens. The job entails making pastys and other food items which are sold online, through our local farmers markets and via delivery with Market Wagon. Must be able to stand for long period of time, take instruction easily and implement the instruction. Be able work as a team member as well as independantly. All duties required in a commercial kitchen will be required and previous experience is not necessary but will be an advantage.
Training will be given. Hours will be Monday to Friday and average hours are 6 hours per day sometimes longer. Rate $15 - $16 depending on past experience. Only serious applicants should apply. Our location is rural between Richland and Plainwell and living in the area would be an advantage.
