PRAB is a custom conveyor manufacturing company. The Fabrication Supervisor position is responsible for the supervision and training of about 15 metal fabrication personnel which includes the manufacturing and quality control checks of all equipment, parts orders, and work orders as well as managing the implementation of equipment process instructions. This position reports to the Plant Manager. PRAB is a one-shift shop with shop hours running 7:00am-3:30pm. Ability to open the shop at 4:45am is a regular, rotating requirement.

Good general math and trigonometry
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing routing forms and complex blueprints
Good hands-on mechanical ability
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working with metal fabrication
Hands on working knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Three years minimum supervisory experience

Assist in the development and implementation of fixtures and fixture kits for existing and new products

Interface with other manufacturing departments, engineering, purchasing, processing, shipping and sales
Attend all scheduled meetings as required
An active member of the manufacturing problem-solving team
