PCW Design/Build, is seeking an experienced and adaptable carpenter to join our dynamic team. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of switching gears between a variety of projects, we'd love to meet you!
We are looking for skilled carpenters but are willing to invest in and train the right candidate.
LOCATION
Greater Kalamazoo Area
PAY
Starting pay commensurate with experience, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on a diverse range of projects including new home construction, remodels and custom cabinetry.
- Assist with framing, finishing, cabinetry, and trim work.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Adapt to changing project needs and timelines as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different types of work, from new builds to renovations.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to safely lift/carry 50-75lbs or more frequently.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, crouch, twist, kneel, reach, etc.
- Ability to complete various repetitive movements.
- Ability to use basic and intermediate hand tools and power tools/machinery.
- Requires exposure to high places.
- Requires working in all weather conditions.
