Essential Duties: Cashiering Experience Preferred
Responsible for recording sales transactions on the cash register and providing general customer assistance by performing the following duties:
1. Receives cash, charge and possible check transactions in accordance with store procedures.
2. Provides customers with appropriate receipts for each transaction.
3. Provides and initiates assistance for customers as needed.
4. Receives incoming telephone calls, takes accurate messages and directs telephone calls to appropriate person.
5. Handles store merchandise re; inventory, cooler maintenance/stocking
6. Merchandise returns and/or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
7. Presents store products and services that are available for sale that benefit customers.
