Establish trusted relationships with development teams, and the Oracle security and AI communities.

Provide technical governance and guidance on security measures and safeguards to embed in the Oracle AI systems and applications, as well as incorporate into the secure delivery, deployment, and post-deployment processes. Maintain market awareness and extend the AI security guidance over time.

Work closely with development teams, clearly describe technical features and technologies, and guide development teams to make secure implementation and deployment of AI systems a success.

Research, design, develop, and collaborate with others to create new tools to support and evaluate the AI security of Oracle’s products and services. Ensure that the deliverables meet the high standards required by Oracle.

Stay ahead of the latest advancements in AI and ML, apply innovative techniques and methodologies to continually enhance the security of Oracle’s AI systems.

Drive innovation by incubating new practices and solutions for AI security including a structured approach how to adopt them.

Be an AI security evangelist. Promote across the organization the Oracle Software Security Assurance (https://www.oracle.com/corporate/security-practices/assurance/) standard on AI security, the AI directives, and related prescriptive and recommended guidance.

Contribute to outreach plans through collateral creation (blogs, presentations, technical briefs, and videos)

Collaborate within a team environment, coaching and upskilling junior members.

Qualifications

12+ years of relevant software development experience, with a strong foundation in Computer Science through a Bachelor / Master or equivalent educational qualification

7+ years experience in one or more areas of application security

Secure design

Secure architecture

Security tooling

Vulnerability management

Secure delivery

Pen testing

Familiarity with industry security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO)

Ability to provide strategic guidance and contribute to the Oracle AI security direction and roadmap.

Hands-on knowledge of one or more AI technologies

Application AI features for different industries, and preferably in enterprise scenarios

Machine Learning, Deep Learning

Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models

Predictive and Generative AI

Data science

AI infrastructure

Strong understanding of cloud security

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, the Oracle AI and Data Science services and solutions.

Proficiency in Python programming language is a plus.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
