Design Enablement (DE) is looking for students like you, who want to build their technical skills. This position for a Research and Development Engineer/Automation Intern in the Design Enablement (DE) organization.The candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Effectively balance technical skills with relationship-building capabilities. Communication skills (oral and written).In this role you will: Learn about Design Enablement Develop software solutions related to PDK development and QA using python, ruby, C; Write automation flows to build, automatically create highly permuted layout testcases, designs to assess process technology competitiveness. Communicate technical projects, scope, and schedules to senior management within and outside of DE organization. Receive coaching and mentoring from our internal network of professionals.This internship will remote be for 3 months full-time.#DesignEnabablementQualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must be pursuing a MS degree or PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.6+ months of experience in at least one of the following:C/C, Ruby, Python or Tcl Linux.

Coursework in VLSI design, manufacturing, Digital Design, Semiconductor Devices.

Preferred Qualifications:6+ months of experience in the following:

Understanding of build processes using a continuous integration system and/or Makefile-type of build flow

Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint.

This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
