With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career and help us define tomorrow’s transportation.In this position, you will:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android).Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve them effectively.Work closely with developers in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Stay current with the latest mobile app testing trends, technologies, and best practices.Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues beyond predefined test cases.Collaborate with product owners and designers to ensure test coverage aligns with user stories and acceptance criteria.Contribute to the documentation of test cases, procedures, and reports.Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience.8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in test automation for mobile applications.Our Preferred Requirements:Some previous experience;with testing and automation strategies for web, API, or full-stack development.in design, development and support of global software products.with automotive industry quality benchmarking tools, such as JD Power.Demonstrated experience with software operations (Source Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, Support and maintenance).Exemplary verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence the enterprise.Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
