Job description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our at our small and friendly team of dental practice in East Lansing, MI. As a main assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, managing supplies and inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of dental office.
PREVIOUS DENTAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE WITH X-RAY CERTIFICATION/CERTIFICATION FROM DENTAL ASSISTING SCHOOL IS MUST FOR THE POSITION.
Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Assistance:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms.
Take dental X-rays as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain and update patient records accurately.
assist patient in making a follow up appointment
Patient Care:
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.
Provide compassionate and supportive care to alleviate patient anxiety.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient comfort and safety.
Infection Control:
Strictly adhere to infection control and sterilization guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dental environment.
Ensure the dental assistant team complies with all infection control protocols.
Equipment and Supplies Management:
Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Order supplies as needed, keeping track of expenses and staying within budget.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
