Are you passionate about improving livestock productivity and animal wellness? Are you a natural relationship-builder with experience in direct sales to producers? Bio-Vet, a premier manufacturer of microbial and nutritional supplements for dairy, beef, and other livestock, is looking for a driven Regional Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be the face of Bio-Vet in your region, educating producers, supporting dealers, and promoting scientifically backed products that make a measurable difference in animal health.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Direct Sales: Call on livestock producers (dairy, beef, and more) to promote and sell Bio-Vet’s daily direct-fed microbials (DFM) and nutritional supplements.
Create Demand: Partner with dealers, veterinarians, and distribution networks to expand awareness and generate interest in our products.
Educate & Influence: Clearly communicate product benefits backed by science helping producers improve productivity, health, and profitability.
Collaborate & Coordinate: Work with internal teams (marketing, customer service, R&D, finance) to support your territory and accounts.
Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with producers, dealers, and re-selling reps. Ride-alongs and in-person interactions are a big part of the job.
Open New Accounts: Identify and develop new dealer and direct-sale opportunities, especially in underserved or high-potential areas.
Track & Report: Log sales activities and customer updates into our CRM, maintain expense reporting via Concur, and complete inventory tracking and promotional use.
What You Bring:
Strong background in animal agriculture, especially dairy and beef.
Proven sales experience, ideally in feed, animal health, or ag inputs
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
Willingness to travel within the region (including trade shows and producer events)
Proficiency with electronic communication like email, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools
Passion for animal health and continuous learning
Bonus Points If You Have:
Connections in the livestock producer and dealer network
Experience conducting on-farm visits and product demos
