Looking for reliable contractors that can complete the following projects on a home in South Lansing:
- Demo/Haul away
- Framing
- Paint
- Drywall
- Flooring
- Trim
- Kitchen Install
This is a real project and those are real measurements. I would like the projects bid separately based on trade, unless you have full crews that can do the work. Full crews that have the ability to work full days. I’m looking to get this turned around quickly so I can’t rely on a single handyman for a project this size.
Project start date would be December 2nd for initial work and continue throughout December. If you are unable to start until January, you can still send your info but I’ll get you on the next you one.
Project Scope:
Demolition
- Remove everything in kitchen but the walls (see photo)
- Remove carpet and baseboard trim in the living room, stairwell, and everywhere upstairs.
- Remove old light fixtures in each room.
- Must haul away.
(Furniture/appliances/junk will already be removed)
Flooring:
- Laying LVP click & lock across all floors that are wood colored in the 3-D diagrams.
- Owner will supply flooring.
- Must be laid in random lengths, not stair step, not one big line down the center.
Trim
- New basic baseboard in all rooms with new flooring
- New basic trim around windows that are highlighted in blue in the 3D diagram.
- Owner will supply baseboard and trim.
Framing
- One wall downstairs and two walls upstairs need to be framed in with doors. (Colored Yellow in the 3D diagram)
Drywall
- Bid: Install ½ inch Drywall newly created walls (as seen in Yellow on 3D Diagram)
o Bid: Later in the process, we will create a new scope of work to fix post demo drywall issues (example: Kitchen).
Paint
- Paint and prime walls, ceiling, trim:
o All rooms with new flooring downstairs (check 3D diagram to see wood colored floors)
o Stairwell
o Everything on the 2nd floor.
o Wall height is 7 ¼in
o Living room is texture – rest of home is flat drywall
Kitchen Install
- Owner will be supplying all materials – cabinets (Menards Cardell), sink, faucet etc.
- Counters will be your typical prefinished laminate from Menards.
- Sink (supplied) drop-in style sink.
- Plumber will handle connections of plumbing.

I’ve chosen to offer this up online for bids so I’m not wasting your time coming out to the property and your not wasting your money on leads from Angi's List. I completely understand that there are other factors that go into a bid, so if you have to give ranges due to some unknowns – I get it.
You will have an opportunity to see the property to confirm your bid/adjust your bid.
Payment will be cash (preferably venmo or cashapp) or check. 50% on the day you start. 50% on completion.
