SEEKING an independent, experienced appliance repair technician to take on occasional diagnosis and repair of residential appliances such as stoves/ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, etc.
Requirements:
- Several years' experience in diagnostics and repair of residential appliances
- Time management and efficiency
- Ability to schedule repairs in a timely manner, typically within 48 hours of contact during business hours M-F
- Must have reliable transportation, own tools, and (preferably) access to basic appliance parts
- GOOD communication skills (responding in a reasonable amount of time, communicating what issues you found and what needs to be done)
- Polite and courteous to our tenants
- Own liability insurance
We are an independent Lansing-based property management/owner company with several rental properties throughout Lansing. We're looking for an independent contractor as someone we can hire/pay for services as needed, but someone who is dependable, experienced and communicative. We would like to build a relationship since our portfolio is continuously growing and we have rental properties, Airbnbs, and restoration projects.
