As an installation assistant at Heat ‘N Sweep, you will assist with fireplace division installations for our gas and wood fireplace division.
This is a very hands-on position that requires your full effort. You must like working as a team, have great care to detail, and good rapport with clients and team members. Successful fireplace installation assistants are driven to get the job done safely, correctly and with a positive attitude; they also enjoy diversity and overcoming challenges in their work environment.
Qualifications:
- Good fit with company culture - flexible, kind and caring, service oriented
- At least 2 years experience in HVAC installation preferred
- Ability to accomplish tasks independently
- Ability to work as a team
- Hard working and dependable
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Attention to detail and the desire to see the job is done correctly the first time
- Ability to take direction
- Well groomed, neat appearance
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean background check and driving record
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior fireplace installer with fireplace division installations
- Assist with staging and execution of installations
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks
- Maintenance of service vehicle to company standards
