We are a busy shop in Old Town Lansing that is looking to add the right people to our crew to implement a 4 day work week. Monday through Thursday 7am-6pm work hours. 1 hour lunch in the middle of the day. Qualified candidates will have the skills to correctly diagnose various repair issues on todays vehicles. State certs are a must and ASE is preferred. You will be responsible for test driving vehicle to confirm the customer complaint, diagnosing needed repairs, communicating that with our service advisor for approval from customer. We are a digital shop that is implementing DVI inspections. Must be familiar with computer use and occasional tablet use for DVI's. After completed repairs you will be required to confirm that the repairs addressed the customer concern. Pay plans can vary. Flat rate, commission and hourly plans can be discussed. Pay rate is going to vary with experience and certifications. We are a general repair shop. We service all makes except Europeans. We are a well equipped shop with 4 scanners and programming capability on GM vehicles. You will be required to supply your own general set of tools. Holiday pay after 30 days, vacation pay after 1 year. These time frames may be waived for the right individual. Uniforms provided after 30 Days.
