This position may be hybrid if located near a sales office.  Applicants will be considered anywhere in the Central and Eastern Time Zones.Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this role sells RRD products and solutions via phone or electronic communication means to customers in an assigned territory. The emphasis will be on building and fostering strong business relationships which result in repeat business and through internal partnerships, can be grown to an enterprise sales opportunity. In collaboration with our National Sales Team, this role is responsible for both Business Development and Sales efforts focusing on driving sales in new or underserved markets.Sales efforts will focus on making outbound sales calls to prospects and existing clients.Business Development Activities will include:
Market and company research to identify potential clients and points of contact within
those prospects. Cold Calling Activities
Schedule and hold virtual / phone based introduction meetings
Sales Activities will be conducted individually or in collaboration with another RRD Sales
Representative. Sales Activities may include:
Strategy development to best present the product or solution to the client
Client Presentations (virtual or onsite)
Responding to Requests for Proposal, Bid, Information, etc.
Upon won business, successful coordination and transfer of Client and account knowledge
to another Sales or Client Services team member.
Record all touchpoints of the Business Development and Sales processes in the
Customer Relationship Management System. Remain up to date on RRD product knowledge and industry insights.
Analyze and filter data provided on accounts and prospects in order to build an individual forecast and sales strategy
