Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Subregional Manger of Risk and Safety for two acute care hospitals. This individual will be responsible for oversight of Risk and Safety for the organization and pursuing Zero Harm.Provides operations & / or optimization leadership focus; Directs clinical specialty (patient-facing) department(s) / area(s) or specialty non-clinical (non-patient facing) department(s) / area(s); May provide leadership & direction through managers; Balances between staff leadership, broader organizational direction & administration; Accountable for the performance, regulatory readiness & results of a single large, strategic area / related disciplines or multiple small to medium-sized departments / areas / clinics in a small to medium-sized single functional domain within a limited geography.Minimum Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Michigan RN License

Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Master's in nursing (MSN), business (MBA), public health (MPA) or health administration (MHA) preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in healthcare leadership

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in risk management, high reliability organizing, patient and colleague safety and organizational improvement.

Extensive knowledge of safety concepts and best practices, risk management, regulatory and compliance requirements, and process improvement methodologies.

Preferred: Certified Professional in related specialties: patient safety, risk management, regulatory and compliance, performance improvement

Preferred: Project management experience

Preferred: Strong knowledge of performance excellence and lean concepts & tools.
