With over 2,400 employees in facilities throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America, our unique combination of creativity and tenacity activates big ideas on a global stage.The Senior Assembler will support the ground up assembly of low volume production, specialty vehicles and components. The role will instruct and mentor lower-level assemblers. The Senior Assembler will work with support functions to improve processes and address quality issues.As a Senior Assembler, you will be responsible for:

Performing complex component, product, and vehicle assembly

Supporting multiple programs with a variety of products and vehicles

Training and mentoring lower-level assemblers

Working with Manufacturing Engineers to evaluate and refine production methods

Supporting continuous quality improvement and production efficiency efforts

Performing functional and visual quality inspections as needed

Performing off-line repairs as needed

Learn and perform assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production

Perform work on vehicle systems

Perform fabrication duties to include grinding, cutting and drilling using fixtures and templates

To be considered a Senior Assembler, you will need:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience

Proficiencywith computer usage

Ability to analyze production methods and address quality concerns

Good understanding of automotive technology

Ability to learn new, cutting-edge technology to support program goals

Willingness to learn alternative fuel systems

Ability to possess basic mechanic tools

A successful candidate may also have:

Experience with performance enhancements

Knowledge of alternative fuels systems

Knowledge of suspension systems

Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
