TheOutside Sales Representativeis responsible for developing and engaging prospects within the healthcare and hospitality sector to achieve designated sales and profit targets in their assigned territory
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify & qualify prospects by cold calling/telephone/email prospecting, on premise visits, relationship building, & networking (business development)
Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, & price schedules
Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective customers
Maintain accurate records of all account activity within (CRM) sales database
Develop and maintain high level of product knowledge & effectively communicate the benefits, advantages and features of the company services & products
Develop Sales Campaigns to promote product offerings & services to new prospects & current customers
Work with the service department to ensure that new accounts are installed properly
Be knowledgeable about competitors’ business practices
Report to Sales Manager

Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
Must have High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related areas - a plus but not required
Must be located within the Detroit/Toledo area for outside sales territory needs
Must have 3+ yrs. of outside sales experience (preferably within industries involving service agreements)
Experience selling into the hospitality & medical industry (w/ understanding of medical terminology) - a plus but not required
Excellent interpersonal skills & demonstrated ability to work effectively w/ all levels of company personnel & vendors/manufacturers
Strong ability to effectively present information/respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, & the general public
Excellent customer service, relationship management, & negotiation skills.
CRM Experience along with strong organizational, self-direction, & time management skills
A Hunter mentality with high sense of urgency/ability to cold call & handle large amounts of face-to-face rejection
Must be able/willing to pass a background check & drug screening (hair)
