Job Title: Tool & Die MakerJob DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Tool and Die Makers to join our team. We have one opening on the 2nd shift and three openings on the 3rd shift. The increase in project demand, particularly from Toyota and GM, has led to the expansion of our 3rd shift team.Responsibilities
Build new dies and perform die tryout.
Read blueprints to plan the sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
Use quality gauges and micrometers.
Operate tool room equipment and grinders, including milling machines, lathes, grinders, and Bridgeport machines.
Adjust parts for proper fit by filing, grinding, cutting, shaping, and trimming blanks or blocks.
Rework damaged components.
Troubleshoot issues during the die tryout process.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Tool & Die Making (making, not repairing) on progressive dies.
Blueprint reading skills.
Proficiency with quality gauges and micrometers.
Experience with tool room equipment and grinders (milling, lathes, grinders, Bridgeport).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with transfer and deep draw dies.
Ability to rework damaged components.
Skill in cutting, shaping, and trimming blanks or blocks using power and hand tools.
Crane and Hi Lo experience.
