All Nimkee staff must adhere to mandated reporting laws.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Complete patient charting, clinical notes and billing codes in Dentrix (Electronic Dental Record) after each patient.Complete referral paperwork to specialists and sign/record specialist correspondence received.Prepare Peer Review paperwork for all providers each quarter; complete Peer Reviews of other department dentists, tally totals and provide results to Dental and Medical Clinic Directors.Oversee in-house dental lab and lab work.Assist in coordinating, implementing and evaluating community outreach programs.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other health disciplines and tribal health groups, as well as other official and non-official health, educational, and governing organizations.Attend and participate in various committees as assigned.Promote dignity, respect, and mutual understanding between staff and patients.Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatments.Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.Inform the patient of diagnosis and treatment need
