They design and build advanced products like race cars and military equipment.We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team, supporting the development of cutting-edge prototype and concept vehicles, with a focus on vehicle electrification, autonomous technology, and unmanned platforms. In this role, you will apply your foundational knowledge and technical abilities to assist in building and testing advanced vehicle systems. This position provides hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, with clear guidelines and instructions for all tasks.Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering schematics, pin schedules, and wiring loom diagrams to assemble high-quality wiring harnesses.
Follow IPC 620C standards for wire harness assembly processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient project execution.
Conduct quality assurance checks on various products produced in the electronics lab.
Install electrical components on vehicles, ensuring proper integration.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting electrical systems to resolve technical issues.
Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance technical skills.
Provide constructive feedback on product design and process improvements.
Use proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support documentation and reporting.
Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to quality.
Exhibit attention to detail, dependability, and a proactive approach to your work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with common electronics tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, power supplies, soldering irons, and hand tools.
Hands-on experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and repair.
Ability to identify color-coded wires and read ID labels accurately.
Comfortable working on and around vehicles, including in confined spaces and elevated positions.
Familiarity with high-voltage systems and associated safety practices.
Knowledge of military or motorsports industry wiring loom build techniques.
Solid understanding of electrical theory, including voltage, resistance, and amperage.
General knowledge of automotive systems, such as steering, brakes, powertrain, and lighting.
