About the Role:

As a Bartender at Cedar Bistro, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will also engage with customers, providing recommendations and personalized service to enhance their dining experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar area, managing inventory, and adhering to all safety and health regulations. Ultimately, your contributions will help foster a vibrant social environment that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth for Cedar Bistro.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in bartending or mixology.

Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.

Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

Engage with guests to provide exceptional service, including taking orders, making recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in placing orders for bar supplies.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
