- The pay range expected is 17-25/hr total dependent on experience and tips. To protect you against an unforeseen slow day so you’re still able to plan your life, we will have set minimum hourly that you average and will add bonuses to every paycheck if you do not reach it.
- This role is for a summer season start, but room to grow and positions for a year round role are available!
```Responsibilities```
- This role on our food trailer is almost like a blend of dishwasher, line cook, and server/host at the window. These are a few examples:
- Washing dishes with hygiene standards strategically in a smaller space
- Follow recipes and learn Japanese technique for traditional ramen
- Cook to order using timer, good verbal communication, and a calm state
- Have a natural joy in helping others and interact with guests at the window with genuine kindness
- Prep ingredients and recipes during off hours and slow hours
- Transport water to holding bins
```Requirements```
- Willingness to learn is most important!
- This is not the usual kitchen environment. Disrespectful behavior towards others is not tolerated, everyone will be given equal respect and family friendly presentation to all guests
-No drug tolerance workplace. Showing up working not sober is potential grounds for termination
-No profanity, gossip, inappropriate humor, sexual remarks, and everything else in a signed code of conduct expected to be followed for a healthy workplace for all.
-Consistent communication, everyone gets sick or maybe is feeling burnt out, and we want to be on your team to provide support, but that equals quality communication with as much consideration as possible to the team for tardiness, call-outs, etc.
- Able to comfortably lift 50lbs
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
