We moved Sorellina last Summer to a brand-new building on Front Street in Downtown Traverse City! Along with that we have also launched a brand new high-end concept Slate.
So, we are now looking to hire for the Spring and Summer.
We are in search of a full-time Experienced Line Cook, AM Prep Cook & Dishwasher to help execute dinner service. We offer flexible schedules and year-round employment with the option for year round over time as well. These positions are not seasonal they are year-round. So, do not hesitate to apply!
Experience PM Line Cook: We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations to execute the busy dinner service and both menus. This position is going to require experience on the sauté station and you must have the ability to multitask 8-10 burners at a time. Other stations will include Grill, Wheel, Expo and if you do not know all of the stations we are prepared to train. Line cook duties will also consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Prep Cook: We are looking for an ambitious Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You'll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes. A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. They will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
Dishwashers: We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines (conveyor style) with up to 244 racks per hour and stacking washed items appropriately. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we'd like to meet you. Note that this role requires working in shifts and during evenings and/or weekends.
