Sign on bonus of $2,000. This position is located in Houghton Lake, Michigan. We build custom cabinets, drawers, tool boxes, tailgates, side rails for up-fitting on medium to heavy duty trucks such as crane or service truck. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn/grow with the company and able to work overtime. No Weekends! Competitive pay based upon experience and knowledge.
To succeed in this position, the successful candidate will have:
Proficiency in MIG welding (horizontal, vertical, overhead, structurally sound); TIG welding a plus
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Able to work efficiently while unsupervised and as part of a team
Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings, blue prints
Sheet metal and aluminum finishing skills
Confidence working under pressure to meet deadlines
Commitment and drive to maintain reputation for quality
Attention to detail and safety
Willingness to learn/grow in the position
Shear and press brake experience a plus
Own basic general shop and fabrication tools
