Lakeview Lawn & Snow is hiring part time tractor operators to snow blow residential driveways in the Traverse City area.
Operators will be on call and must be able report to all shifts at any time of day or night November 1st - April 15. Training will take place during October and November. Most shifts will be during overnight hours. During severe storms shifts may be 12 hours long with only 8 hours off between shifts. Operators must be physically able to safely operate tractor, replace shear pins, and unclog blowers. Operators must be mentally and physically able to drive, operate, and work in adverse weather conditions. Tractors do have climate controlled cabs.
No experience is necessary. Heavy equipment experience is preferred.
Operators will receive thorough training on safely operating a tractor with an inverted snow blower.
Applicants must be reliable, be safety conscious, be a motivated team player, have a positive attitude, pass a drug screening, and pass a background screening.
