Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking Processor/Inspector for a busy automotive manufacture in Lake City, MI.
This is a night shift position (7pm-5am0 with training completed on day shift (5am-3pm ) for the first 30 days. This is 4x10 hour shift Mon-Thurs with possible overtime available. The job duties include:
examine and feel surfaces or work pieces for defects
use belt sanders, portable wheel grinders and pneumatic grinders to remove defects from forging
inspect parts for bent and oversize condition
places part in appropriate fixture to gauge part and determine whether it is salvageable after grinding
perform other related duties as required or directed
maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
must be able to maintain a good attendance record
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
