Seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Nail Technician to join our team at a new medical foot spa. The ideal candidate has a passion for both beauty and health, a strong understanding of sanitation and infection control, and the ability to provide exceptional, results-oriented foot care services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical-grade pedicures focusing on nail and foot health rather than cosmetics alone.
- Assess client foot and nail conditions and provide suitable treatments or recommendations as needed.
- Safely manage conditions such as calluses, cracked heels, thickened nails, nail fungus, athlete's foot, and ingrown toenails (non-invasive care).
- Maintain sterilization and hygiene protocols.
- Educate clients on proper at-home foot and nail care.
- Recommend appropriate retail products or follow-up care.
- Participate in formal educational opportunities and on-job training.
Qualifications:
- Current state nail technician or cosmetology license (required).
- Certification or training in healthcare / medical pedicure / advanced foot care (preferred, but can be trained in-house).
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, disinfection, and infection control practices.
