Description: Local and well-established, family-owned cabinetry design firm and in-house shop is seeking an experienced cabinet builder and cabinet installer to work with our close-knit and supportive team. Our company primarily installs cabinetry in newly built custom homes and large remodel projects. This person will work with our Owner and lead builder/shop manager to ensure that our custom cabinets are built and installed meticulously and properly into our clients’ homes.

Full-time Position/Guaranteed full time work each week
Company vehicles are used for transportation to various work sites.
Expectations:
Be able to build cabinets according to designer’s specific plans.
Have excellent carpentry skills and a proficient knowledge of woodworking tools.
Accurately interpret plans and blueprints, while following specific directions for cabinet installation from the designer and shop manager.
Lift and move heavy cabinetry within the jobsite.
Be willing to work in the on-site shop and on various jobsites.
Have a knowledge of industry standard power and hand tools used in the cabinet installation process.
Installation of upper and base cabinets along with base trim and crown molding.
The ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
A strong work ethic and dependability is a must.
Occasional long hours in order to meet deadlines.
Must live in/near Gaylord, MI or be willing to relocate.
A valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving record.
