Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of carpet and flooring materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of installation techniques, as well as the ability to work efficiently in diverse environments, including residential and commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
Install carpet using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring a seamless finish.
Prepare surfaces by removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling the area as needed.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, trimming, and fitting carpets.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Perform floor care tasks post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in all types of carpet installation is required.
Applicants must have their own tools to complete the work.
Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in flooring installation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installations.
A valid Driver's License is required.
Applicants must live in the Traverse City, MI area or be willing to relocate.
