Roy’s General Store is looking for a hands-on problem solver with solid carpentry skills to keep our building, fixtures, and grounds in great shape.
Schedule & pay
Full-time or part-time; weekdays with occasional weekends as needed.
Pay: $17-$22 per hour, based on experience.

What you’ll do
Carpentry: build/repair shelves, counters, displays, doors, trim.
Fix-it work: drywall patching, painting, basic plumbing (leaks/faucets), minor electrical (swap outlets/fixtures).
Install/assemble store fixtures and signage.
Safety/upkeep: caulk/seal, weatherproofing, small flooring/threshold repairs, ADA/safety checks.
Seasonal tasks: exterior touch-ups, power washing, light snow/ice spot treatment.
Track simple work orders and materials used.
What you bring
Comfortable with hand/power tools; can lift 50+ lbs and use ladders safely.
Reliable, organized, and respectful around customers and staff.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Nice to have
Concrete/patching, door hardware, or basic welding experience.
Can sketch simple plans and estimate materials.
