Description We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our team in the Transport industry based in OWOSSO, Michigan. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the complete accounts receivable process, assisting the controller, and conducting audits. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is a valuable addition to our team.Responsibilities: Managing and supervising the accounts receivable process Assisting the controller in various financial tasks Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient financial management Employing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for strategic business growth Handling accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Balancing sheet accounts and ensuring all financial records are accurate Training team members on new software and processes Proficiency with Excel for financial data management and reporting Utilizing RR software for efficient and effective resource planning.
