DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Federal Mogul’s Powertrain Divisionis looking for a Co-op Student for our Sealing Engineering department who hasinterest in Product Engineering. This position will rotate semesters withanother student throughout the year. He/she will become a valued memberof our Sealing Engineering department where we strive to promote from withinwhenever possible; therefore opportunities for advancement are strong.An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who is in pursuit of aBachelor’s degree in Engineering and for students bringing a team-orientedspirit, an eagerness to learn and a strong analytical ability. Excellent verbaland written communication, a proven track record of accomplishments both insideand outside of the educational setting and experience in Microsoft Office areall necessary skills for this position. We are looking for a talentedEngineering student with an interest in Product Engineering.We are ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit forthe role. You’ll first hear from someone in Human Resources to schedule aphone screen and then the next step will be a personal interview with our ChiefEngineer. We pride ourselves on moving through processes quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication throughout.Responsibilities:
Support application and product engineering activities.
Responsible for writing test requests and test reports.
Conduct pre and post-test analysis of parts.
Responsible for set up of product test machines.
Conduct field return analysis and reports.
REQUIREMENTS:Education:
Must
be enrolled in a B.S. degree program in Mechanical Engineering.Skills & Experience:
Experience in Microsoft Office.
Eagerness to learn new systems and processes.
