Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems. The role involves working with various equipment such as mixers, extruders, refrigeration units, proofers, conveyors, boilers, and silos. You will replace, rotate, inspect, and change parts of industrial machines, connect power to machines, install motors, and rewire motors. Additionally, you will read blueprints and schematics, move machinery using hoists and dollies, perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum materials, run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines, and conduct fabrication using a drill press, cutting out holes, and making parts.Responsibilities

Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems.

Work with mixers, extruders, refrigeration units, proofers, conveyors, boilers, and silos.

Replace, rotate, inspect, and change parts of industrial machines.

Connect power to machines, install motors, and rewire motors.

Read blueprints and schematics.

Move machinery and equipment using hoists and dollies.

Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum materials.

Run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines.

Conduct fabrication using a drill press, cutting out holes, and making parts.

Essential Skills

Experience troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on automated equipment.

Experience with assembly equipment, including conveyors, and building industrial equipment.

Experience rebuilding 3-phase motors.

Experience troubleshooting PLCs, including troubleshooting drives, changing out drives, and programming set points.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience installing conduit and electrical wiring.

Background in the food and beverage industry.

Possession of personal hand tools (power tools will be provided).

The environment is hot and fast-paced, with temperatures inside the plant typically 10-20 degrees warmer than outside due to the industrial ovens used for baking. The team structure includes four crews (two on days and two on nights), each with one supervisor and three technicians. The plant follows a 2-week schedule rotation and offers time and a half for overtime beyond 12 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week.
