Lead functional design of product solutions, coordinating processes across IT and business stakeholders, collaborating with infrastructure, middleware, security, governance, and service delivery as needed.
Work with a diverse business community and IT Business Analysts to understand as-is business process and help identify the to-be business processes.
Partner with Business Analysts and Solution Architects in understanding, defining, and prioritizing business requirements and translating those into technical solutions within Stryker's Corporate Functions HR, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Affairs application stack.
Participate in technical design, prototypes/mockups, QA/testing, and delivery of solutions for new projects and/or release cycles or oversee the same performed by a strategic partner or Center of Excellence within the IT organization.
Oversee and review designs, solutions, and build activities for compliance with solution architecture, enterprise architecture and domain guidance with other IT teams (i.e. Service Delivery) to ensure alignment for the solution with Stryker's internal application stack architecture and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and process.
Supports delivery of the correct technology solution to enable business processes following EA guidance.
Enable developers and technical resources to contribute to a coherent solution architecture.
Define and document interfaces between components and solutions guided by common business, domain, and enterprise schema standards.
Ensure both system and technical documentation is completed by project team or self.
Lead and mentor Leads and Analysts within the team and provide oversight and guidance.
What You Need
6+ years of relevant experience is required.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
5+ years of experience in leading matrixed IT project teams in preferred.
Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts - strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning required.
Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.
Experience in design and deployment of regulated applications preferred.
