Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is seeking hard working candidate with General Labor work experience to work in our client molding and melting foundry facility. This General Labor position involves repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift, including standing and walking, and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting.
Location: Tri City Area, MI
Position Type: Full time
General Labor Pay: $10.75/hour
Schedule: 1st shift
Qualifications: Candidates need to have at least a year of previous steady work history of melting metal, pouring metal into molds, removing castings from molds, dressing castings, moving foundry materials, and cleaning equipment and work areas. Candidates need to be able to work by hand, using wheelbarrow or cart, on a production line or by loading onto conveyor. Needs experience working with flasks, using wrench, bolts, tap screws, clamps, hand tools and blow torch. Candidates need to be able to sweep and clean work areas and not be afraid of a labor intensive position.as a general labor. Be able to perform various lifting tasks, do physical work, standing on feet long periods of time, bending, climbing stairs, etc. A candidate must be willing to work in manufacturing facility with the proper safety equipment.
General Labor Job Requirements:
Foundry experience is desired
Lifting 50+lbs.
Must have steel toed boots and work gloves
A successful candidate has to have a reliable transportation.
Proven work history.
Be able to pass background check and drug test.
