We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Certified Diesel Mechanic with experience in both gas and diesel trucks. This position will work in conjunction with the staff to oversee the routine maintenance of the company fleet and shop.
Requirements:
- ASE Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and comprehend repair manuals. Experience with ALLDATA a plus.
- Must have shop required hand tools.
- Ability to use testing tools.
- All employees must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Essential Functions:
- Perform work assignments on company fleet in a timely and efficient manner with a high level of quality.
- Operates and moves equipment being repaired in and out of shop service bay.
- Operates and moved auction vehicles being repaired in and out of shop service bays and test for performance issues.
- Use proper test equipment to troubleshoot for needed repairs.
- Keep work area clean and orderly; put away incoming inventory and participate in inventory counts.
- Ensures accuracy of work orders by ensuring all documents for the repairs are turned in and charged.
- May be required to work overtime based on fleet breakdowns.
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
This is a Full-Time - 40 hours guaranteed - permanent position.
