DevOps Engineer, for custom solutions within an existing application framework and the Azure technology stack. The engineer will join a DevOps team that is building and supporting complex applications forming a cohesive platform. This involves constructing, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting releases, pipelines and the Microsoft Azure platform. The product space is expanding both in terms of applications and technologies. The DevOps engineer must be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to design, code, test, document, deploy, and support cloud based as well as cloud native solutions. Working independently, as well as within a team, exhibiting the ability to adapt and communicate are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Scripting within a previously started application as well as completely brand-new development
Building and maintaining architecture CI / CD / CT
Ability to debug, test, and correct code and operations issues.
Core Requirements
Associates or bachelor's degree in Information Technology from an Accredited College or
University in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology with a specialization in Software Development or Computer / Software Engineering
At least 1 year of experience creating pipelines and releases using YAML in Azure DevOps
At least 1 year of experience with monitoring and alerting technology
At least 1 year of experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform / ARM Templates / BICEP / Azure CLI on Microsoft Azure
At least 2 years of experience architecting and implementing microservice, Kubernetes, HELM, and sidecar technology as part of CI / CD
At least 2 years of experience managing applications in an Azure DevOps environment
Have a passion to go above and beyond while achieving solid goal completion in a strict 40-hour schedule
At least 2 years of API development experience in .NET Core, Node.js, or Spring Boot with a MS SQL or NoSQL database
At least a year of frontend experience with Angular 4+
At least a year of experience as a full stack developer
Exhibits the core skills and mindset of a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Has an architectural mindset including an understanding of .NET CLI, SOLID, OOPS, and DRY principles
Proficiency using Skillsoft / Udemy / Coursera / LinkedIn Learning
Agile Scrum Fundamentals, Product Owner or Scrum Master Certifications
