Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry for an SEC Reporting Analyst in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. This role involves working closely with a team to conduct financial reporting and analysis, as well as assisting in the development of budgets and projections.Responsibilities: Assist with the closing of corporate-entity books on a monthly basis Contribute to the preparation and reporting of financial statements and disclosures on a regular schedule Conduct monthly reviews of financial statements and analytical procedures Address issues or questions related to the monthly financial operating results and provide analysis of variances from the budget Oversee the processing of corporate invoices, from initial review to management approvals and timely payment remittance Participate in the creation of budgets and projections Present financial results and market data to senior management on a quarterly basis Support annual audit and quarterly reviews Implement process improvements and system upgrades across the business, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements Carry out special project analyses and respond to ad-hoc requests Participate in real estate/property accounting tasks Assist in operational support for real estate transactions, including acquisition, dispositions, and debt refinancing.For immediate and confidential consideration please apply today. Proficiency in SEC Financial Reporting is a mandatory requirement for this role. The candidate should be adept at performing Month End Close processes. A strong skill set in Financial Analysis is required. The candidate must have experience in preparing and analyzing Cash Flow Statements. Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is a key requirement for this role.
